Robert Repasky, LMT

My first professional massage was just over 10 years ago, when I visited the Stillpoint Center. Soon after that first massage I felt the urge to get deeper healing with Structural Integration. Rolfing met this ‘knead’ for about two years. However, I was intrigued with studying this healing art more than 20 years ago when I first saw an ad for a massage school in an alternative newspaper.

Now I’m transitioning from a successful 20-year career as an Ecologist and Environmental Consultant. My “Second Life” vocation came from the desire to integrate my Livelihood and my Potential for Healing; from working in the outdoor environment to assisting people improving their inner environment. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I like to combine Deep-Tissue Myofascial techniques and Joint Manipulation to help the client assimilate our table sessions with their daily routine.

I graduated at the top of my class in Massage Therapy and Bodywork in March 2009 at Southwestern College, Florence, Kentucky. I am licensed in Kentucky and Ohio. I am certified in Oncology Massage by Cheryl Chapman. Oncology Massage is a special type of bodywork developed specifically for cancer, hospice and HIV/AIDS patients. Patients with life-altering illnesses have unique needs which must be addressed to make sure that a massage is beneficial to their health. My focus is on creating a gentle, nurturing atmosphere for you to relax into.
